Resources
This page gathers information and resources that may be helpful when considering or engaging in therapy.
Crisis & Emergency Support
I am not an emergency service provider and may not be able to assist you in crisis situations or if you need immediate support.
If you are experiencing a crisis and need immediate support:
- Call or text the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988 or visit 988lifeline.org
- Call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room if the situation is life-threatening.
Additional Resources for Support
These links connect you to outside organizations for immediate or specialized support. Please visit their websites for the most current information and availability.
Practice Documents
This section includes brief overviews of key documents and policies related to therapy services. These materials are intended to support clarity and understanding.
Full documents are reviewed and signed at the start of therapy and remain accessible through the Client Portal. If you’d like to review them beforehand or have any questions, please connect with me.
Informed Consent
Informed consent isn’t just a form to sign at the beginning — it’s an ongoing process of clarity, choice, and shared understanding throughout our work together.
This document outlines the agreements that support therapy, including how sessions unfold, what you can expect, and how practical, legal, and relational matters are addressed.
A full copy is reviewed and signed at the start of therapy and remains accessible through the Client Portal.
Good Faith Estimate
In accordance with the 2021 No Surprises Act, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate of Services outlining the expected costs if you’re paying privately for therapy.
Notice of Privacy Practices
This document describes how I protect your health information and your rights under federal law. It explains how information may be used or shared, and how privacy is upheld as part of our ongoing work together.
A full copy is reviewed and signed at the start of therapy and remains accessible through the Client Portal.
Client Portal
The Client Portal provides access to therapy-related information and account management.
More information about using this portal, including the mobile app, is available in the SimplePractice Client Help Center.
