Under the 2021 No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services.
Do you have health insurance? Do you wish to use it to receive compensation for services?
Axis Mundi Center for Mental Health does not bill or accept health insurance. However, your insurance plan may reimburse you for services received out-of-network. I am happy to provide you with a superbill detailing the cost of your service, but I cannot act on your behalf as your representative.
Make sure your provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your service.
Axis Mundi clinicians must provide you with the fee for services before therapy begins. Fees for services are different clinician to clinician depending on where they fall within agency fee scales, and cannot be relied upon to account for issues like illness, emergency, scheduling conflicts, etc. The agency supports annual increases of fee relative to cost-of-living increases in order to support the sustainability of our clinicians. Click here for more information on fee scales at Axis Mundi.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
